One South Euclid seeks proposals from experienced artists for the design and execution of a public art mural on an exterior wall of a high visibility building at 1449 Messenger Ct.
in South Euclid.

Location
1449 Messenger Ct., South Euclid, OH 44121 is centrally located in the heart of the Downtown Mayfield-Green District. This high-visibility building offers a prime mural space, prominently seen by drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians traveling south on South Green Road, as well as visitors within the commercial parking lot, enhancing the vibrancy of the district. The wall is approximately (50'x15') or (750) square feet.
Theme
Design and paint a public art mural that reflects the inclusivity, diversity, beauty, and spirit of South Euclid.
Budget
The total budget for this project is $12,000. The budget is all-inclusive and required to cover all public art related expenses, including, but not limited to, design, artist fee, materials, engineering, fabrication, and other costs related to the mural.
Selection
A committee composed of One South Euclid board members and the property owner will select a muralist who meets the criteria outlined below. The proposed mural will need to receive approval from the City's Architectural Review Board.
Submission Requirements
1) All proposals must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on April 11, 2025.
2) This call is open to all muralists 18 years of age or older.

5) Information that is required to be attached to the form can also be sent to info@onesoutheuclid.org, if needed.
Compensation
Once a muralist is selected, they will be paid $500 to create a more detailed design of the proposed mural for final review. The muralist will be paid up to $11,500 upon successful and timely completion of the mural.
Eligible costs that include, but are not limited to, artist fees, materials, installation labor, and other costs related to the mural. Invoicing schedule and terms of service will be outlined in the mural agreement, upon selection. Priming of the exterior wall should be completed prior to the installation and should be incorporated into the muralist’s itemized budget.
